This suji puri recipe
is a delicious Indian fried bread made with made with Rava, wheat flour ,boiled
potatoes and few spices and is perfect for breakfast on a lazy Sunday. It is
also super easy to make and does not take much time to put together. My family loved this recipe.

Ingredients
Potato, boiled &
mashed -1 cup
Wheat flour- 1 cup
Semolina/Suji/Rava-1/4
cup
Cumin (jeera) – 1 tsp
Red chili powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1
tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Red Chilli flakes- ½ tsp
Coriander leaves
chopped- 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for
frying
Water as needed
Method:
1.Take rava pour warm water
and soak for few minutes.
2.Then Combine the
whole wheat flour, sooji, boiled and mashed potato along with cumin seeds,
turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, red chilli flakes, garam
masala coriander leaves, and salt and mix well. Knead into a stiff dough.
3.Divide
the dough into small lime size pieces and roll it out into a 3 to4 inch circle
dusting with little flour. Roll the
puri of medium thickness.
4.If it is too thin like roti then it will not puff up
while frying
5.Heat the Oil in Pan and carefully slide rolled
poori into hot oil and deep fry on both sides until it slightly starts to
change color.
6.Remove it from the oil and place on paper
towel and serve warm with any side dish of your choice.
